Well, it’s official. We’re launching Communit.as on February 26th, 2009 from 6pm to 8pm at CubeSpace, which is located at 622 SE Grand Ave, Portland, OR.
In case you don’t remember, Communit.as is a web application foundation for building community and social network type sites. It was originally developed for Heywire ARTST back in 2007. Since then, we also built Ryz with it, in addition to a number of smaller sites. This is a pretty major milestone for me personally as well as the rest of the team, as it represents almost two years of work. We’re pretty excited about it.
There will be drinks, snacks, a demo and Q&A with the development team (of which I am totally a member). Hope to see you there. If you want to let us know you’re coming, that would be great!
